Dr. Nelson Tumwesigye was born in a small family of 4 in the suburbs of Mbarara, a district in South Western Uganda. He was graced by God with scholarships throughout secondary school until completion of his university education with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Kampala International University in 2021.

  

By God's grace, he started working in 2024 as a general doctor by Medical Teams International (MTI) - a humanitarian agency offering emergency and long term medical services to the refugee communities in Uganda.

   

Over time, Nelson's passion for restoration of hope and wellness in a hurting world has grown and has led him to take on the Medical Director role to spearhead For Love Ministries' medical outreaches.
